SpaceX has opened a new office in Nashville, Tennessee. According to the Tennessean, SpaceX now employs around 200 people and plans to hire at least 100 more over the next five years. The headquarters is located in a 12-story building that also houses an Apple store and was formerly owned by Spacex Mechanical Engineering Jobs Bridgestone.
The company’s employees work on rockets for commercial space exploration as well as military satellites. This move will bring added jobs to the state of Tennessee which already boasts several high tech companies such as McKesson Corp., ServiceNow Inc., and Asurion LLC, among others.
