SpaceX Salary information

SpaceX is one of the most innovative companies in the world. In just a few years, they have launched numerous rockets and are on their way to building a colony on Mars. However, there hasn’t been much information about what SpaceX employees make.

This post will explore that topic by looking at salary data from Glassdoor and average salaries for engineers in other countries to compare with U.S. salaries. 

The first thing we’ll look at is how much an engineer earns per year according to Glassdoor’s 2018 report which averages out at $96,898 annually or $47/hour (on average). We’ll also take a look at how this compares with other jobs such as software development ($118k). The salary for this position ranges from $85,000-$115,000 per year. 

This organization is growing rapidly as they launch more rockets and work on more projects such as the Falcon Heavy rocket which was launched in February 2018 after many delays due to problems with one of the boosters. 

SpaceX has been very successful so far but there are still challenges ahead like manufacturing at large scales while maintaining quality and safety standards.

This will be extremely difficult but SpaceX’s goal is to make humans a multi-planetary species by 2030 and create new life on Mars through what Elon Musk calls “the Interplanetary

The candidates are interviewed by three different people from the company including HR representatives, engineers, and managers to see if they’re a good fit for the company’s culture.
